Dear Community Partner:

Cross Plains Stingrays is a recreational swim team that is run by volunteer parents. We are a non-profit swim team with about 160 swimmers that swim every year. We are part of the Tri-County Conference swim league which includes the following teams:

Cross Plains Stingrays Baraboo Riptide
Mazomanie Barracudas Sun Prairie Piranhas
Sauk Prairie Pool Sharks Wisconsin Dells Dolphins
Mt. Horeb Gators Spring Green Dolphins

The team’s purpose is to offer the children of the Cross Plains area the opportunity to develop and enhance their own swimming abilities, to learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship and to enable them to participate in a sport they love. Our team could not have become the success it is today without the strong support of our team’s parents and the surrounding community. As swimming becomes increasingly popular, more and more families are getting involved in the sport.

Every 7 years we have the opportunity to host the Conference swim meet. This is the end of the season meet where all the teams come together to compete. Cross Plains will be hosting this swim meet this year at the Middleton High School on July 29 –30. Approximately 2,500 swimmers, parents and fans will attend this event.

This year we are looking for sponsors who will be recognized at the meet and throughout the season. Sponsorship of this event is crucial to the success of the team and carry on the team’s traditions. Our theme this year is Swimopoly, a take on the board game Monopoly.

If you have any questions or you are interested in sponsoring the Cross Plains Stingrays Tri-County Conference meet, please contact us at [email protected] .

We appreciate your time and consideration of our request. Your donation will be recognized and appreciated for many years to come!

Sincerely,

Greg Dorn and Cyndi Mair
Cross Plains Co Vice President
